Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Python backend services, APIs, automation logic, and service-level components.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL structures, including SQL queries, triggers, and stored functions.
- Implement microservices and security mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and modern component-based web frameworks.
- Participate in Agile software development, sprint planning, code reviews, and iterative delivery.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and support platform integration with engineering teams, customers, or partners.
- Use Git-based version control and support containerized application deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or master’s degree with 3+ years; an additional four years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and maintain the clearance.
- Proficiency in Python backend software development and PostgreSQL database design and development.
- Experience with microservice architecture, OAuth 2.0, JWT, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
- Experience with Git-based source control systems, including GitHub or GitLab.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum and software development practices.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, message-driven or event-driven development, RBAC, and ABAC.
- Preferred experience includes production troubleshooting, customer or partner integration, and collaboration with MBSE or test engineering teams.
