Responsibilities
- Own technical solution designs for internal, external, and client-facing projects.
- Translate business, engineering, and compliance requirements into architecture patterns and solution designs.
- Document solution designs through architecture diagrams and design documents.
- Hands-on deliver working environments, remove technical roadblocks, and support engineering team success.
- Research emerging technologies and develop implementation standards and best practices.
- Create proofs of concept to validate design recommendations.
- Review work products and mentor other team members.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience in network or system administration, software development, information security, or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering scalable, production-ready cloud-first solutions using Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and M365.
- Experience incorporating AI concepts and technologies including Microsoft Foundry, agentic frameworks, and RAG.
- Experience with containerization technologies including AKS, Azure Container Apps, Istio, and image management.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux administration fundamentals, including Ubuntu and RHEL.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT security, networking, software development, infrastructure deployment methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft and Azure data platforms including Power BI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, DocumentDB, and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Evidence of technical leadership through design influence, architecture standards, or improved solution delivery practices.
- Nice-to-have experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
