Base Salary
$112k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain large-scale services and self-service developer tools for internal engineering teams.
- Deploy, monitor, and operate production systems across AWS, GCP, Azure, and GovCloud.
- Develop infrastructure abstractions and automation that enable safe, friction-free service deployment.
- Tune telemetry, metrics, and alerting to improve operational performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations, diagnose system anomalies, resolve incidents, and identify root causes.
- Build and integrate AI-powered tools to automate configuration changes and optimize continuous delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- Meet one qualifying education and experience pathway: a master's degree with 0 years of experience, a bachelor's degree with 2 years, an educational or workforce development program with 3 years, or a high school diploma with 4 years.
- Have education or experience in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrate proficiency with software, data structures, and algorithms in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Have hands-on experience building, deploying, or managing cloud infrastructure across major cloud providers.
- Have practical experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, or automation tooling.
- Preferably have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and kubectl; distributed systems; CI/CD pipelines; automated testing; observability; and Unix/Linux environments.
- Preferably have experience using generative AI tools or machine learning models for developer tooling and infrastructure workflows.
- Be able to take ownership of engineering deliverables, communicate technical concepts, and work effectively in an agile team environment.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
