Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage highly available applications for system reliability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain HashiCorp Nomad and Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure, manage, and tune enterprise DNS systems.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
- Perform system monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
- Automate security testing and monitoring with tools such as ACAS and Trivy.
- Analyze cybersecurity scan findings and support false-positive exception documentation.
- Assemble evidence for enterprise approval of containerized and non-containerized software packages.
- Integrate static code analysis and security mechanisms using GitLab SAST, Fortify, SonarQube, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain software tools that automate cybersecurity analysis and correlation workflows.
- Perform OS patching, OS STIG implementation, software updates, and cybersecurity remediation on virtual machines.
- Maintain configuration management and monitoring of release products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across networks, automation pipelines, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness and ability to pass a CI polygraph.
- Ability and willingness to work 40 hours per week in a SCIF in Herndon, Virginia.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in software development or software engineering.
- At least 5 years of DevSecOps industry experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Professional experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software in Python, Go, Java, C#, or a similar language.
- Experience building automation tools, APIs, or applications.
- Strong cloud deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong automation skills using Python, Bash, or equivalent languages.
- Experience applying security best practices with tools such as Trivy, Grype, GitLab SAST, or SonarQube.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of networking and load-balancing technologies.
- Experience with Git and collaborative source-control workflows.
- Experience with CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience deploying and maintaining open-source and custom applications.
- Moderate Linux system administration experience with Red Hat, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, or similar systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, web services, and SQL databases.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Security+ or comparable certification, RHCSA/LPIC 1/2, CKA, or Docker Certified Associate certification is preferred.
- Experience with distributed processing, REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services, web services, Docker STIGs, or CONMON cybersecurity remediation is preferred.
