Staff DevOps Engineer
Renesas ElectronicsResponsibilities
- Build and continuously optimize CI/CD processes and automate server provisioning and application deployment.
- Architect resilient and scalable cloud-native service infrastructure across regions.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale application services and infrastructure.
- Build automation tools using Go, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Collaborate closely with software development departments and participate in project management and strategic planning.
- Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing.
- Plan and document work and projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE environment.
- 6+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows systems.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure components.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, or alternative CI systems.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, with Terraform preferred.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and microservice architecture.
- Experience monitoring Kubernetes clusters, APM, services, and AWS infrastructure using New Relic and Prometheus.
- Ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery tools used with microservices and demonstrated coding experience.
