Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of infrastructure and engineering-platform components.
- Build and evolve the Agentic Engineering Platform, including orchestration, API execution, code generation, data analysis, and agent-assisted troubleshooting.
- Design and implement Golden Paths for CI/CD with templates, guardrails, pull-request review, approval, and merge workflows.
- Develop monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities covering metrics, logs, traces, events, and cost.
- Evolve the Kubernetes foundation on GKE through standardization, sustainability, and intelligent automation.
- Implement AI-assisted incident management connecting detection, diagnosis, and remediation.
- Create and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code, including intelligent validation, rollback, recovery, and operational corrections.
- Support the definition and tracking of SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Support critical-system migrations, environment segregation, and legacy-technology deprecation.
- Collaborate with SRE Partner, SRE FinOps, and product teams to drive platform adoption and an AI-First engineering culture.
Requirements
- Solid experience with GCP, including GKE, IAM, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed-systems architecture.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and Terraform.
- Proficiency with observability tools and practices, including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Thanos, OpenTelemetry, and AlertManager.
- Practical experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and GitOps on GKE.
- At least 2 years of production development experience in Go or Python.
- Production experience with LLM agents, including tool use in agentic loops, MCP, and orchestration through Vertex AI, Anthropic, or an equivalent.
- Experience defining and tracking SLOs and error budgets.
- Experience with incident management, on-call work, and post-mortems.
- Prior experience building engineering platforms, Internal Developer Platforms, Golden Paths, or Developer Experience is preferred.
- Contributions to observability, toil reduction, or operations-automation projects are preferred.
- Experience in multi-cloud environments or high-traffic companies is preferred.
- Familiarity with GitOps and declarative infrastructure management is preferred.
