Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and improve machine learning solutions for healthcare and life sciences applications.
- Work with real-world datasets and production-oriented AI systems alongside experienced Machine Learning Engineers and Researchers.
- Apply machine learning fundamentals including model evaluation, classification, regression, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Contribute to NLP and Generative AI work involving areas such as LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and model evaluation.
Requirements
- Completed or nearly completed a relevant master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree or be beyond the bachelor’s level; candidates who have not completed a bachelor’s degree will not be considered.
- Demonstrated understanding of training, validation, and test datasets, cross-validation, overfitting and underfitting, model evaluation, classification, regression, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and basic statistical reasoning.
- Python programming experience and experience working with datasets and implementing machine learning solutions.
- Preferred experience or demonstrated interest in NLP, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or model evaluation through research, coursework, projects, internships, work experience, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Ability to work full-time.
