Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and optimize ETL pipelines and production-quality data workflows.
- Design data schemas and data architectures capable of supporting 10x data growth.
- Own data quality, governance, schema design, security, and pipeline availability.
- Develop standardized data models and scalable frameworks that enable self-serve data insights.
- Define and monitor key data-pipeline metrics and provide visibility to partner teams.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents outside regular working hours when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience transforming data into governed datasets.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-quality data pipelines.
- At least 5 years of experience working with stakeholders to provide business insights.
- At least 5 years of experience with SQL, Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, Airflow, and Python.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with an MPP database system such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Teradata.
- A track record of successful partnerships with Analytics, Data Science, and DevOps teams.
- Understanding of key data-pipeline metrics and experience building solutions that provide visibility to partner teams.
