$238k - $302k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply SLAM expertise to automate the 3D map building process.
- Develop a long-term strategy for the evolution of Waymo’s 3D map.
- Contribute to algorithm advances, infrastructure development, and tooling improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in SLAM, Localization, or a related robotics field.
- Backend engineering experience with server-side infrastructure and data processing.
- Solid coding skills, preferably in C++.
- At least 7 years of total experience.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
