Responsibilities
- Own the infrastructure, CI/CD, and secure-environment compliance supporting Neros’ software delivery.
- Design and operate robust, reliable, and auditable cloud infrastructure and back-end systems.
- Make architectural decisions and own delivery across cloud-native and hybrid development, staging, and production environments.
- Administer Linux systems, CI/CD pipelines, runners, networking, secrets, certificates, and identity systems.
- Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, alerting, and observability for infrastructure and application health.
- Maintain high standards for platform performance, security, reliability, and repeatability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience.
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, networking, resource management, and scaling.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
- Experience administering CI/CD pipelines and runners in secure environments, such as GitLab CI.
- Deep Linux system administration experience, including hardening, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and configuration management.
- Experience designing and maintaining repeatable, reliable cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure architectures across development, staging, and production.
- Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and network segmentation.
- Experience with secrets management, certificate lifecycle management, and PKI.
- Ability to design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability pipelines for infrastructure and application health.
- Security and compliance experience with FIPS 140-2/140-3 and controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-172, or NIST SP 800-53 is preferred.
- Familiarity administering Okta or Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD for SSO, MFA, and identity governance is preferred.
- Zero-trust security architecture and STIG hardening or RMF process experience is preferred.
- Embedded Linux, embedded system interfacing, C/C++ familiarity, and Bash or Python scripting experience are preferred.
