Responsibilities
- Analyze system operations through monitoring, capacity analysis, and root cause analysis to improve system stability and performance.
- Maintain and support efficient integration solutions and interfaces between applications.
- Develop custom SAP S/4HANA solutions, programs, integrations, and functions.
- Design and maintain CDS views and OData services and develop using ABAP on HANA.
- Conduct SAP unit testing, participate in integration testing, and coordinate with testing teams.
- Troubleshoot information systems and production issues, provide Level 2 and 3 support, and support nightly batch processing.
- Document technical designs, test activities, and results while following change control procedures.
- Participate in project planning, business-process analysis, requirements discussions, and technical-solution recommendations.
- Contribute to development standards for full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.
- Evaluate SAP development tools and recommend improvements to production support and system processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of SAP application development experience; SAP certification is preferred.
- In-depth experience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, BAPI, BADI, RFC, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, IDocs, BDC, and ALV Programming.
- Experience extending existing SAP S/4HANA systems or developing new S/4HANA programs and functions.
- Experience with CDS views, OData services, ABAP in Eclipse/ADT, and AMDP.
- Experience with ABAP on HANA and familiarity with SAP HANA integration and enterprise architecture.
- Experience with SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
- Experience with SAP Fiori; SAPUI5, JavaScript, and Web IDE experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication, mathematical and analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
