Responsibilities
- Build production voice AI systems involving retrieval-augmented generation, dynamic model routing, and transcription-system evaluation.
- Design and operate a distributed call scheduler managing concurrency, race conditions, time zones, retries, and provider limits.
- Extend agents across voice, messaging, and email while maintaining shared memory and state across real-time and asynchronous conversations.
- Develop memory and reasoning systems that preserve context through customer workflows.
- Build AI-assisted agent-configuration and diagnostic tools integrating with CRMs, calendars, email, and other business systems.
- Improve observability and resilience through traceable failures and graceful recovery from call, worker, and provider failures.
Requirements
- Production experience building and owning distributed systems and shipping product software end to end.
- Strong software fundamentals with production experience in Python, FastAPI, or TypeScript.
- Experience with real-time systems, audio processing, voice infrastructure, and production LLM, AI model, or agentic systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores and cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to design or debug systems involving concurrency, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
- Familiarity with LiveKit, Temporal, message queues, workflow orchestration, React, and observability platforms is valuable.
- Independent, action-oriented judgment focused on code quality, reliability, team outcomes, and customer outcomes.
Benefits
- €85,000 to €160,000 annually plus equity.
