Responsibilities
- Work as an embedded QA Automation Engineer in an agile team and drive software quality across the team.
- Design test cases, identify automation opportunities, and execute tests for adequate requirements and acceptance-criteria coverage.
- Automate UI and API test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform manual testing when required, including periods where manual testing is the primary responsibility.
- Create or organize test data, maintain regression test cases, and explore databases for relevant data.
- Execute and document tests in an audit-proof manner and manage defects.
- Provide guidance and support on software quality and development testing topics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of general test automation experience covering UI and API testing.
- Experience leading or supporting testing initiatives across development through acceptance testing in an agile team.
- Strong experience in test case design and risk-based testing.
- Mandatory experience working in an agile team; DevOps experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to read and write some Java or C# when needed.
- Good Jira knowledge; basic Xray knowledge is a plus.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent English command at C1/C2 level; fluent Spanish is a plus.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification, cloud technologies, web application architecture, and banking knowledge related to Client Lifecycle Management are advantageous.
