Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize secure modern web applications using .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain APIs, backend services, integration layers, background services, worker processes, and user-facing Angular applications.
- Design database schemas, data models, queries, transactions, indexes, and performance-tuning strategies for SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, secure coding practices, and enterprise security standards.
- Deploy and support cloud-native applications in Azure, including infrastructure, identity, configuration, secrets, monitoring, resiliency, and disaster recovery concerns.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application code, database performance, cloud infrastructure, networking, integrations, and deployment processes.
- Establish technical standards, mentor developers, and collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and security teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and developer workflows.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience developing enterprise applications with modern .NET and C#.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, exception handling, logging, and performance optimization.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core web APIs, API contracts and versioning, validation, endpoint security, background services, worker processes, and service-oriented applications.
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, role-based access control, and claims-based authorization.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, mocking frameworks, and testable application architecture.
- Strong Entity Framework Core experience, including database access, migrations, data modeling, query optimization, transactions, concurrency, and data integrity.
- Extensive experience building Angular single-page applications with TypeScript, components, services, routing, forms, HTTP clients, RxJS, observables, signals, stores, state management, and reusable UI patterns.
- Experience developing responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces with HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern UI component libraries.
- Strong hands-on Azure experience, including App Service, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and API Management or equivalent services.
- Experience with cloud-native patterns, managed identities, configuration and secret management, event-driven workflows, scalable deployments, and infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including advanced SQL, schema design, normalization, indexing, execution plan analysis, query tuning, stored procedures, views, functions, security, auditing, and backup/recovery.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant experience in senior or technical leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Agile delivery, Git-based source control, pull requests, branching, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and preferred familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Redis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
