Responsibilities
- Collect and document user requirements and develop user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Apply modern AI and GenAI best practices.
- Develop, validate, train, tune, and deploy AI/ML models.
- Analyze ML algorithms and rank them by likely success for a given problem.
- Create and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for sourcing, exploration, automation, and data augmentation.
- Verify data quality and perform data cleaning as needed.
- Establish development standards and share ML engineering best practices with the team.
- Deploy and manage AI/ML platforms, including API endpoints, security, SSO, auditing, and version control.
- Explore and visualize data to identify distribution differences that may affect real-world model performance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in AI development.
- Strong programming skills, including Python and ML, data, and API libraries.
- Experience creating end-to-end data pipelines.
- Experience with AI model development and knowledge of ModelOps/MLOps, AutoML, AI ethics, trust, and explainable AI.
- Knowledge of ML frameworks such as SparkML, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and H2O.
- Experience with cloud environments such as SAP, AWS, Azure, or GCP, or containerized environments such as Mesos or Kubernetes.
- Interest in understanding functional and industry business challenges.
- Preferred experience with Big Data, data modeling, SAP AI Core, SAP Data Intelligence, Embedded Analytics in S/4HANA, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Additional experience with LLMs, LSTM, RNN, TensorFlow, H2O, Kubernetes and containerized AI/ML platform deployment, Spark/Hadoop distributed systems, and AI/ML cluster management.
- Experience with IBM AI/ML services such as WatsonX, Assistant, or Discovery is beneficial.
