Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own security architecture across cloud, Kubernetes, internal services, and research infrastructure.
- Design and operate identity and access systems, including SSO, MFA, and RBAC.
- Build and improve secrets management across the company.
- Harden software delivery and developer workflows, including CI/CD and dependency security.
- Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and risk assessments.
- Build detection and response capabilities across various telemetry.
- Own vulnerability management and remediation automation.
- Partner with engineering teams on segmentation and secure access patterns.
- Set pragmatic security standards and run tabletop exercises.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating security controls in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong hands-on engineering skills with Python or Bash, and Terraform.
- Experience with identity systems such as Okta or Entra.
- Familiarity with secure SDLC and supply chain controls.
- Experience with detection and response, vulnerability management, and incident handling.
- Strong Linux and network security fundamentals.
- Experience working with researchers or platform teams.
- Clear communication and strong judgment.
