Base Salary
$162k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and release product-facing features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models that power core product functionality.
- Build and evolve distributed systems that support business-critical workflows, transactions, and integrations.
- Own backend components throughout their full lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end product features and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing service interactions.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis to ensure backend service stability.
- Monitor and debug production systems using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Ensure backend systems meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Document system designs, APIs, data schemas, and operational considerations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience with Apple SDKs and Android SDKs.
- Familiarity with mobile UI frameworks and accessibility testing tools.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile state management frameworks.
- Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and performance profiling tools.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and version control systems.
- Background checks required.
