Responsibilities
- Scope and architect AI solutions for ambiguous, high-stakes clinical problems from initial conversation through production specification.
- Build and deploy RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and real-time conversational AI systems in live clinical environments.
- Integrate systems with healthcare data standards and platforms, including EHR systems, FHIR, and HL7.
- Own monitoring, performance tuning, and iterative improvement after deployment.
- Partner with product, AI research, and clinical safety teams to communicate field insights and close feedback loops.
- Navigate clinical, operational, and technical stakeholder environments.
- Travel to customer sites as needed and serve as the embedded technical presence throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from a Tier-1 university.
- 0-2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with production deployments that can be discussed in depth.
- Experience building with LLMs, including RAG architectures, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or fine-tuning.
- Proficiency in Python and ability to work across the full stack when needed.
- Experience integrating APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical architectures to engineering and clinical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in healthcare technology, digital health, or clinical environments.
- Preferred familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and EHR integrations.
- Preferred exposure to voice AI systems or real-time conversational platforms.
- Preferred customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or forward deployment experience.
- Ability to operate in early-stage, ambiguous environments.
