Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery of Blockstream enterprise software from project kickoff through production deployment and post-launch support.
- Build AI-assisted prototypes, integrations, tooling, services, configurations, and reusable deployment assets.
- Support technical pre-sales, RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, SOW scoping, estimation, and scope-change management.
- Configure, deploy, optimize, test, and provide UAT and post-go-live support for customer implementations.
- Integrate Blockstream products with core banking and capital-markets systems using integration interfaces and data pipeline technologies.
- Deploy solutions in on-premise, network-isolated, and air-gapped banking environments while producing security and audit evidence.
- Troubleshoot technical, configuration, and integration challenges and collaborate with Engineering to resolve product issues.
- Facilitate technical workshops, architecture discussions, implementation planning, and administrator and end-user enablement sessions.
- Translate implementation learnings and customer feedback into product improvements, deployment frameworks, playbooks, and engineering roadmap input.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or Enterprise Software Delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust to independently build and ship integrations, tooling, and services.
- Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software in complex customer environments and working directly with enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and modern software architectures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer-facing communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Enterprise Sales, and Consulting.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer engagements.
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe and excellent English skills.
- Preferred: experience with financial institutions, Bitcoin, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, fintech, APIs, modern integration frameworks, cloud platforms, containerized deployments, infrastructure automation, Layer-2 technologies, or digital asset infrastructure.
