Responsibilities
- Develop and refine advanced prompts and conversation logic for autonomous clinical agent workflows.
- Build integrations connecting conversational agents to EHRs, scheduling systems, and telephony platforms using HL7/FHIR feeds and APIs.
- Collaborate with clinicians, product managers, engineers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements and feedback into conversation designs.
- Conduct experiments and analyze model outputs, prompt variations, safety scores, patient satisfaction, and task completion metrics.
- Maintain, test, document, version-control, and safely deploy conversation code and prompts to production healthcare environments.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams during go-lives to debug integration issues and create reusable implementation patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated coursework and professional projects.
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience in software development, AI/ML, or related technical roles.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience writing production or near-production code.
- Professional or substantial personal-project experience with LLM prompting, including ChatGPT, Claude, or similar models.
- Experience building database and API integrations, including asynchronous patterns and error handling.
- Preferred qualifications include backend framework experience, full-stack or AI experimentation projects, AI/ML knowledge, regulated healthcare data experience, healthcare or health-tech exposure, and familiarity with LangChain, LangSmith, or the Anthropic SDK.

- Full-time 12-month residency program consisting of six months as an FDE Resident and six months as an Associate FDE, with potential progression into FDE, Engineering, or Product roles.
