Responsibilities
- Develop advanced prompts and conversation logic for clinical agentic workflows.
- Design and build integrations with customer EHRs, scheduling systems, and telephony platforms using HL7/FHIR feeds and REST/webhook APIs.
- Collaborate with clinicians, product managers, engineers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements into conversation designs.
- Experiment with model outputs, prompt variations, and conversation strategies while measuring safety, satisfaction, and task-completion metrics.
- Maintain, test, document, version-control, and safely deploy conversation code and prompts to production healthcare environments.
- Support customer go-lives by debugging integration issues and converting partner edge cases into reusable product patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated coursework and professional projects.
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience in software development, AI/ML, or related technical roles.
- Strong Python proficiency with experience writing production or near-production code.
- Professional or substantial personal-project experience with LLM prompting.
- Experience building database and RESTful API integrations, including async patterns and error handling.
- Preferred qualifications include backend framework experience, full-stack or AI experimentation projects, AI/ML knowledge, healthcare or health-tech experience, regulated-data privacy and compliance knowledge, and familiarity with LangChain, LangSmith, or the Anthropic SDK.
