Responsibilities
- Guide the design and implementation of reusable AI components and services.
- Develop multi-model orchestration workflows integrating tools and memory management.
- Review and validate AI agent outputs across design, testing, and production phases.
- Define AI engineering, evaluation, quality, and verification practices.
- Optimize AI operational costs through token monitoring, caching, and other efficiency measures.
- Contribute to the reliability, security, observability, and scalability of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with teams on technical decisions and support learning in AI design, prompting, evaluation, and verification.
Requirements
- Considerable experience in AI engineering, software architecture, or distributed systems.
- Practical knowledge or hands-on experience with generative AI, large language models, and AI agent frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python or similar modern engineering languages.
- Experience designing and implementing reusable AI services or platforms.
- Understanding of multi-model orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with containerization, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native design.
- Sound technical judgment and the ability to make balanced, risk-informed decisions.
- Interest in mentoring and supporting collaborative learning in technical teams.
- Preferred experience with multimodal or multi-agent AI systems, model serving, inference optimization, GPU infrastructure, AI security, guardrails, responsible AI, memory management, privacy, technical knowledge engineering, reusable AI skill libraries, or large-scale shared AI platforms.
