Responsibilities
- Set the architectural direction for the client’s web application.
- Initiate initiatives to improve the technical quality of the application.
- Contribute to event-driven architecture, modular API and UI patterns, processes, standards, and designs.
- Develop product-oriented software, define product features, and participate in workshops with product development teams.
- Own workstreams, track progress toward team goals, and communicate progress to the Technology Manager and team.
- Propose and implement improved processes, designs, and engineering practices.
- Support changes through production and verify that they continue to work effectively.
Requirements
- Experience delivering high-quality software projects using established best practices and maintaining quality throughout the software lifecycle.
- Experience with modular API and UI patterns.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate on complex problems.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to perform complex technical or professional activities, investigate and resolve complex issues, and work effectively in distributed cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence customers and team members, plan and monitor work, and adapt to change.
- Confident Intermediate English or higher.
