Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing interfaces and server-side services using Java, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks.
- Support coding, testing, debugging, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and other phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and integrate APIs, databases, and cloud-based solutions to connect systems and improve data and process flows.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modelling and visualization.
- Participate in technical design reviews and align solutions with architecture, security, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Scrum and Agile teams to deliver increments, resolve technical issues, and improve delivery practices.
- Use approved AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, documentation, testing, and debugging with review and validation.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, resilience, scalability, and best-practice adoption.
- Partner with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and support application maintenance.
- Assist with management reporting and application or service performance information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or a comparable discipline.
- Two or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Java and/or .NET/C# development and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of software testing phases, testing techniques, debugging, and maintenance.
- Experience working in Scrum teams and applying Agile methodologies.
- Experience with SQL, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and application integration.
- Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
- Familiarity with Docker, SaaS, CI/CD, or comparable deployment technologies.
- Experience using AI coding assistants responsibly, including reviewing AI-generated code for quality, security, and compliance.
- Experience in an IT or information services environment is desirable.
- Understanding of service delivery KPIs, including SLA and Mean Time to Resolution, is desirable.
- Experience in a quality, compliance, or regulated environment is desirable.
