Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and support software solutions for retail and enterprise platforms.
Evaluate requirements, build proof of concepts, and provide technical feedback on implementation approaches.
Implement user stories, technical tasks, integrations, APIs, and platform enhancements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, test artifacts, and deployment guidance.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with architects, senior engineers, product teams, QA, DevOps, and professional services.
Troubleshoot software defects, production issues, and operational concerns and implement corrective actions.
Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, production deployments, and post-release validation.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, test generation, documentation, and analysis.
Continuously improve technical skills, development practices, and understanding of retail platform technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3–4 years of professional software development experience.
Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
Working knowledge of SQL databases and modern application integration patterns.
Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred experience with Java/Spring Boot, React or Vue, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, retail, POS, payments, commerce platforms, observability, and operational support.
