Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and support software solutions for retail and enterprise platforms.
Use AI-assisted development tools for productivity, code quality, test generation, documentation, and analysis.
Evaluate requirements, build proof of concepts, and provide technical feedback during discovery activities.
Implement user stories, technical tasks, integrations, APIs, and platform enhancements.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to apply architectural patterns, engineering standards, and non-functional requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, test artifacts, and deployment guidance.
Participate in code reviews and improve solution quality and maintainability based on feedback.
Troubleshoot software defects, production issues, and operational concerns and implement corrective actions.
Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability practices.
Support production deployments, post-release validation, and operational readiness activities.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and professional services teams.
Continuously improve technical skills, development practices, and knowledge of retail platform technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
Working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern application integration patterns.
Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred experience with Java/Spring Boot and front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.
Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, event-driven architectures, and messaging technologies.
Preferred experience supporting retail, POS, payments, or commerce platforms and understanding software quality, observability, and operational support.
