Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain stable, scalable mainframe applications.
- Apply performance tuning, batch optimization, and transaction-processing techniques.
- Analyze complex production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Translate retail banking domain needs into technical designs.
- Collaborate with testing, operations, and business stakeholders to coordinate releases and maintain delivery.
- Support quality assurance, configuration management, version control, documentation, and audit readiness for mainframe codebases.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in CoolGen, CA Gen, CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and COBOL.
- Proven record of delivering stable and scalable mainframe applications.
- Deep understanding of retail banking processes, including accounts, payments, cards, lending, or channels.
- Experience with performance tuning, batch optimization, and mainframe transaction processing.
- Experience analyzing complex incidents and resolving production issues in regulated banking environments.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Familiarity with hybrid work models, remote collaboration tools, quality assurance practices, configuration management, and version control.
