Responsibilities
- Create and assure key architecture artefacts, including key design decisions, technical options papers, and high-level designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical vision and establish architectural guardrails, often serving as a lead subject-matter expert.
- Support senior leaders in shaping cases for change through cost estimation and detailed planning.
- Apply architecture and delivery practices while working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Solve technical problems with clients and contribute to internal projects across varied sectors and technology stacks.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering background with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services.
- Clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies.
- Confidence operating across business, data, application, technology, and security architecture domains, with a specialty in at least one.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Certifications in appropriate methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous.
- Experience across leading vendors including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, IBM, and Salesforce is welcomed.
