Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components for current and future networking products.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software features and infrastructure for a cloud-native security platform.
- Fix bugs in current products and collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Profile, optimize, and tune management, control, and dataplane systems for efficient cloud operation.
- Implement high-quality software features on schedule and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Rich experience developing software for cloud-based products and cross-platform environments.
- Strong hands-on programming and debugging skills in Python.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration and traffic-steering platforms.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and Continuous Delivery principles.
- Understanding of cloud-based product design considerations involving microservice architectures, security, global network infrastructure, distributed systems, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of Firewall, IPSec, SSL, IdP, TLS, DNS, CASB, SDN, and TCP/IP networking.
- Knowledge of Go and C/C++ is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Math, or Electrical Engineering is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
