Responsibilities
- Define SWHW test strategies and plans with JDM partners.
- Design test cases and develop automated test cases and test environments.
- Build automated systems supporting continuous testing and nightly-build analysis.
- Review software implementation and source code and proactively identify quality issues and risks.
- Verify Dyson product features, compatibility, performance, soak, robustness, and stability.
- Analyze test results and prepare test summary reports.
- Collaborate with JDM partners and Dyson Software, Hardware, Test, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project and scrum meetings and continuously improve system testing using new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- More than 4 years of relevant software quality or software testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.
- Competency in at least one of Python, C, or C++.
- Experience with robotics, sensors, vision systems, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and RTOS operating systems.
- Experience with Test Management Systems, Jira, Confluence, Stash, Git, and Bamboo.
- Good understanding of electronics hardware and its interfacing with software systems.
- Knowledge of software in IoT products, including embedded, mobile app, and cloud software.
- Experience working with Agile software development or DevOps.
- Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in teams.
