Responsibilities
- Own the quality approach for teams or product areas.
- Lead initiatives that shift quality left through automation and tooling.
- Identify and evolve test frameworks and automation strategies.
- Define and implement test approaches as part of a quality strategy.
- Shape the approach to quality in an AI landscape.
- Use metrics to surface quality risks and turn insights into action.
- Provide craft leadership and coaching for QA and partner disciplines.
- Define and socialize quality standards and practices.
- Partner with various leaders to diagnose quality risks and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to growing the quality craft through hiring and mentorship.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software quality assurance or quality engineering experience.
- Experience defining and implementing test approaches.
- Experience coaching QA team members on test design and execution.
- Experience driving continuous improvement processes.
- Experience leading automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience using quality metrics to assess quality health.
- Experience working effectively across disciplines.
- Experience handling multiple simultaneous projects.
- Experience tasking or partnering with remote teams.
- Experience establishing quality standards and practices.
- Strong judgment in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong technical acumen to engage with engineers.
