Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to analyze user stories and translate them into solutions aligned with the architectural roadmap.
- Prepare technical designs addressing security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Code, test, debug, implement, and support complex financial applications.
- Develop and execute automated and manual scripts for validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Implement Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development as part of a shift-left strategy.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources while following processes and standards.
- Maintain SDLC artifacts including security impact assessments, code reviews, test plans, and exit reports.
- Estimate task duration and effort, monitor project progress and quality, manage risks and issues, and take corrective action.
- Coach and train new recruits and provide technical leadership within teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud computing, microservices or APIs, private cloud platforms, distributed caching, and Spring Boot.
- At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS or GCP, CI/CD pipeline tools and processes, and configuration as code.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java, HTML5/CSS3, AngularJS, and/or Android or iOS development platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience with MongoDB, Couchbase, or Oracle databases.
- Experience with service discovery, resiliency technologies, source control, Jenkins, JUnit or TestNG, Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Experience with technology development lifecycles, application deployment, Test-Driven Development, and Behavior-Driven Development.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Agile-hybrid environments.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a business-related field, or comparable work experience.
- Financial-industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with GenAI tools is desirable.
