Responsibilities
- Maintain and further develop software components within ABB’s 800xA controller configuration tool.
- Develop and evolve software for Sattline workstations, focusing on functionality, quality, and future capabilities.
- Ensure software performance, usability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical customer issues.
- Participate in requirements specification, coding, testing, and documentation across the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with experienced developers, customers, colleagues, and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Experienced software developer with a strong technical mindset and collaborative approach.
- Solid programming skills in C/C++ and proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English communication skills.
- Exposure to embedded systems and complex technical environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers is a plus.
