Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect software and infrastructure for deployment into a Linux-based Common Computing Environment PaaS.
- Integrate containerized software applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime.
- Improve software and infrastructure build processes.
- Set up and configure hardware and software test environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across software, infrastructure, and systems-level problems.
- Automate testing for deploying and managing custom containerized applications and open-source tools.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and manage external communications.
- Provide team leadership within an integrated product team structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience architecting infrastructure within the SWFTS environment and coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Experience integrating containerized applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime.
- Experience with automated testing for containerized applications and open-source tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles in prototype and production software development.
- Preferred experience with Ansible IaC, Java Spring Boot, Python, Kubernetes, Docker container files, Bash scripting, cluster networking, and cluster design.
- In-depth experience in at least two areas including RESTful APIs, Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- U.S. citizenship is required; a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at hire, and selected applicants must meet eligibility requirements for classified-information access.
