Base Salary
$119k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate software components and containerized applications into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment PaaS.
- Improve software build processes and configure hardware and software test environments.
- Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate software installation, testing, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and isolate software problems.
- Perform integration testing for custom containerized applications and open-source tools and components.
- Provide technical leadership and identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus at least three years of relevant experience.
- Experience integrating containerized applications using Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.
- Bash and Python scripting experience for installation, testing, and monitoring automation.
- Advanced software troubleshooting and integration-testing experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Experience with Ansible, Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux is desired.
- Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification is desired.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
