Base Salary
$119k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate containerized software applications into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment PaaS.
- Improve the software build process and configure hardware/software test environments.
- Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate software installation, testing, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and isolate software problems.
- Perform integration testing for custom containerized applications and open-source tools and components.
- Provide technical leadership and identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master ’s degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience integrating containerized applications with Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.
- Proficiency developing Bash and Python automation scripts.
- Advanced software troubleshooting and integration-testing experience.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information are required.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
- Ansible infrastructure-as-code experience, Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience, and Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification are desired.
