Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and infrastructure solutions.
- Build, maintain, automate, and optimize secure cloud environments and platforms.
- Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Support application deployment, troubleshooting, testing, and continuous integration activities.
- Research and implement emerging technologies to improve platform performance and engineering efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Lead cloud engineering best practices and mentor team members on cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes including Azure Kubernetes Service, and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and BOSH CLI.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
- Hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with API gateways, messaging, event streaming, distributed tracing, SQL, and document databases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes 8+ years of IT experience, cloud engineering, distributed systems design, public/private/hybrid cloud environments, enterprise-scale PaaS solutions, and Infrastructure as Code and cloud platform automation.
- Kubernetes and/or HashiCorp certifications are preferred.
