Base Salary
$175k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
- Embed with forward-deployed delivery teams in customer environments to assess security posture, identify gaps, and implement controls.
- Build reusable security automation, scanning, testing, monitoring, and security accelerators for forward-deployed AI systems.
- Implement controls for prompt injection, guardrail bypass, model endpoint hardening, training data protection, output filtering, and data isolation.
- Integrate security controls into engineering workflows, including secrets management, dependency scanning, container security, and security gates.
- Triage and respond to production security incidents and build monitoring and alerting for AI-specific security signals.
- Document reusable security patterns, playbooks, and architectural guidance.
- Travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in areas including application security, identity and access controls, incident response, cloud security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
- 5+ years identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
- 4+ years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience in common programming languages.
- Knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.
- Experience with threat modeling and penetration testing, or equivalent strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication abilities.
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services is preferred.
- A US government Top Secret or higher security clearance, or 7+ years of IT platform implementation experience in a technical and analytical role, is preferred.
- Experience with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, and AWS technologies is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen.
