Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and document enterprise architectures spanning applications, integrations, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking.
- Use Oracle technologies to create solutions aligned with clients’ existing infrastructure and future needs.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure implementations conform to architecture specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle and ensure software architectures are scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
- Present architectural solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical proposals and RFPs.
- Identify and mitigate solution architecture risks, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 18+ years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record across multiple architectural domains.
- Mastery of application, integration, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking architecture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design approaches, principles, and best practices, including responsibility-driven design, domain-driven design, and event storming.
- Extensive experience with architectural styles and patterns including multi-layered, N-Tier, monolithic, microservices, MVC, onion, hexagonal, asynchronous messaging, publish-subscribe, service bus, pipes and filters, CQRS, event-driven architecture, data lakes, data warehouses, NoSQL, analytical databases, ETL, data streaming, data visualization, CDC, access control, authentication, authorization, cryptography, serverless, containerization, observability, container orchestration, firewalls, network segmentation, load balancing, reverse proxies, and forward proxies.
- Proficiency with Oracle technologies including Java, ADF, OAF, PL/SQL, WebCenter, WebLogic, BPM Suite, Oracle Process Cloud, Oracle Content Management, SOA Suite, MFT, Oracle API Gateway, GoldenGate, OBIEE/OAS, Data Guard, Siebel CRM, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Applications, and Oracle Cloud.
- Strong architecture modeling experience using UML or other modern modeling tools.
- Strong architecture documentation experience using RUP4+1, IEEE 1471/ISO 42010, or Views and Beyond approaches.
