Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy applications in a cloud-hosted distributed system.
- Build product capabilities that support researchers submitting work for publication.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements and gather feedback.
- Contribute to architectural decisions focused on system stability and performance.
- Implement enhancements to improve delivery processes and working practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile and DevOps implementation teams.
- Support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Create and update technical documentation.
- Champion industry best practices and standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in most of Java, Spring or Spring Boot, React, Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, and SQL.
- Experience with build tools, Git, and continuous integration using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with alerting, monitoring, and logging tools such as New Relic, OpenSearch, Kibana, or Coralogix.
- Experience using IntelliJ or VSCode and refactoring tools.
- Experience with test-driven development and mocking libraries such as Jest and Mockito.
- Experience creating and updating technical documentation with Jira and Confluence.
- Real-world experience with Scrum or Kanban practices.
- Familiarity with designing and developing for cloud environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Some exposure to DevOps and Terraform.
- Willingness to learn AI-based solutions and additional technologies.
- Experience supporting and mentoring team members is expected.
