Responsibilities
- Build and improve secure, reliable, and scalable systems supporting the end-to-end client journey.
- Design, implement, and operate production services using Kotlin, Java, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop solutions for authentication, onboarding, consent, client engagement, client support, and public web experiences.
- Work with AWS-based infrastructure and DevOps practices to deliver and operate services.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver product improvements.
- Drive engineering excellence through technical ownership, pragmatic problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
- Strong professional software engineering experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, REST APIs, GraphQL, JWT, Docker, and Git.
- Experience building and operating microservices in production.
- Practical experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
- Understanding of databases, including SQL and ideally NoSQL technologies.
- Strong ability to write well-architected, testable, maintainable, and documented code.
- Strong analytical, technical, product problem-solving, communication, and English-language skills.
- Preferred: experience with authentication, security, consent management, onboarding, GDPR, KYC, Salesforce, client support tooling, client engagement platforms, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, fintech, banking, or regulated digital products.
