Senior Android Engineer - Embedded Finance
Toast, Inc.Responsibilities
- Own the development and delivery of Banking features in the ToastNow Android app.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and cross-functional partners to shape features and technical solutions.
- Work with the US-based ToastNow Android team on architecture, feature integration, and delivery.
- Build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested financial experiences for restaurant owners.
- Use AI tools to enhance development workflow, velocity, and productivity.
Requirements
- Experience building Android applications with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, coroutines, and Flow.
- Experience with modern Android architecture patterns such as MVI.
- Ability to own features from technical design through delivery.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Preferred: familiarity with Circuit or Molecule, consumer fintech experience, and iOS development experience.
