Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver ML training frameworks for LLMs and stable diffusion models for Google Cloud customers.
- Design and implement cloud-based AI framework software for language modeling, stable diffusion, ranking, and recommendation workloads.
- Identify and resolve software, performance, and topology issues.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while leading technical strategy and direction.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other engineering teams throughout the software project lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, such as Python.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and ML infrastructure work including deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- 5 years of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- 5 years of experience with software design and architecture and with testing and launching software products.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience with ML modeling and scaling, large-scale distributed or machine learning systems, LLM and image-generation training, and cloud-based services including GCP.
Benefits
- US base salary is $262000-$364000, plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
