Responsibilities
- Test and qualify multi-radio coexistence software across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, Thread, Satellite, and other wireless technologies.
- Design test plans and validation workflows for concurrent traffic, real-time scheduling, priority arbitration, and high-interference scenarios.
- Build, maintain, and improve robust automated testing frameworks while performing manual exploration and functional testing.
- Identify test coverage gaps, triage bugs, investigate complex failures, perform root-cause analysis, and propose technical resolutions.
- Develop internal testing tools and diagnostic utilities to improve team-wide testing efficiency.
- Use protocol analyzers, over-the-air sniffer captures, and system trace logs to debug wireless communication issues.
- Develop or deploy Generative AI and machine learning tools to enhance test automation and data analysis.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and influence cross-functional engineering roadmaps.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Wireless Systems Engineering or Software QA.
- In-depth understanding of Multi-Radio Coexistence scheduling, real-time priority arbitration, and concurrent wireless behavior.
- Hands-on experience testing and qualifying mobile devices and cellular or connectivity technologies under concurrent traffic and high-interference conditions.
- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, test plan creation, bug triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency in functional testing, manual exploration, and test automation.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Swift.
- Ability to investigate complex multi-radio failures, prioritize issues by customer impact, and propose clear technical resolutions.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, debugging complex wireless communication environments, and developing internal testing tools.
- Preferred experience integrating or deploying Generative AI and machine learning tools for test automation and data analysis.
