Base Salary
$99k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain resilient distributed systems managing robotics device fleets across thousands of sites.
- Contribute to system architecture, hyperscale deployments, robotics compute patterns, fleet management, and edge-device automation.
- Develop automation and self-service tooling using Python, Rust, CDK, and AWS services.
- Implement Linux systems, OS image creation pipelines, and BSP solutions for x86, ARM, NVIDIA GPU, and embedded robotics hardware.
- Create frameworks for provisioning, configuring, and managing edge-compute fleets, including AI perception and manipulation robotics systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues across robotics hardware, Linux kernels, device software, networking, and AWS cloud services.
- Partner with robotics solution teams to address device-management requirements and improve provisioning, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, hiring, technical assessments, knowledge sharing, and mentoring through peer collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Linux operating systems experience or related IT experience.
- At least 1 year of programming experience with a modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- At least 1 year of experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
