Base Salary
$172k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain Access Security backend features and services.
- Build AI-assisted access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation workflows for identity and access use cases.
- Design and implement high-performance APIs, data models, and scalable enterprise services.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to deliver solutions balancing innovation, performance, and business impact.
- Own features from architecture and design through release, operational oversight, and ongoing stability.
- Participate in quality, performance, maintainability, code reviews, automated testing, and production readiness.
- Lead cross-functional technical projects and mentor engineers while raising engineering quality standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend software development experience building complex enterprise production software.
- Strong proficiency in Go and other programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience architecting and implementing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and graph technologies such as Neo4j.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into production workflows, including security-focused access intelligence.
- Proven experience leading major cross-functional technical projects from conception to launch.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with IAM, IGA, PAM, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, LLM frameworks, provider libraries such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, ownership, customer focus, and interest in emerging technologies.
