Responsibilities
- Own software solution architecture across Azure DevOps, SonarQube, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Docker, Visual Studio/MSDN, and future AI solutions.
- Design and build reliable, maintainable, compliant, auditable IS solutions and associated services.
- Approve and build solutions for ABB pre-production and production environments.
- Consult, advise, and support installation or modification of IS solutions and services.
- Contribute to problem and incident management by eliminating recurring defects.
- Define technical solutions and align them with surrounding IS applications through collaboration with architects and delivery units.
- Deliver workflow-driven automation using Power Automate, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tools.
- Maintain architecture documentation and Architecture Decision Records.
Requirements
- More than eight years of experience in application modernization and information technology and services solution engineering.
- Advanced experience architecting and solutioning with Azure DevOps, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, SonarQube, and Visual Studio or VS Code.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell, and YAML for automation, integrations, scripting, pipelines, and infrastructure as code configurations.
- Experience with Power Automate, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tools.
- Deep experience with solution architecture, multi-tenant SaaS, high-availability designs, and modern application modernization initiatives.
- Experience with UAM solutions, Power BI dashboards, and DORA metrics.
- Exposure to generative AI and agentic AI implementations.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- Experience deploying to Azure, AWS, and GCP, including Kubernetes orchestration with AKS, EKS, and GKE.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- At least one mandatory certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- A degree in Information Technology is required.
- Docker Certified, CKA, TOGAF, or CCSP certifications are preferred.
- Strong English communication skills and an interest in modern technology are required.
