Base Salary
$220k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own security problems end to end, deciding what matters and building solutions independently.
- Identify real risks and implement direct controls to mitigate them.
- Develop secure-by-default libraries and tooling for engineering teams.
- Define and enforce least-privilege guardrails to protect sensitive information.
- Harden developer environments against supply chain attacks.
- Collaborate with compliance to turn control objectives into effective security measures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade code.
- Strong security knowledge including threat modeling and OWASP Top 10.
- Experience with identity and authentication flows.
- Ability to discern significant risks from less critical issues.
- Experience in healthcare and understanding of HIPAA and HITRUST is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and modern product stacks.
