Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated functional and API test suites.
- Create test strategies, testing frameworks, and methodologies to ensure product quality.
- Perform manual and automated regression testing across mobile, desktop, and web-based platforms.
- Create BDD test scripts using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Test automation builds, execute test scripts, and troubleshoot automation issues.
- Test APIs using Postman and other tools.
- Create load-testing scripts and automate load testing.
- Perform application penetration testing using tools such as Netsparker and BurpSuite.
- Log, manage, and track user issues and cases and troubleshoot application bugs.
- Lead offshore teams and coordinate with other lead SDETs, architects, technical leads, and Scrum teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least six years of experience in similar roles.
- Ability to lead offshore teams and coordinate with other lead SDETs.
- Knowledge of behavior-driven development.
- Deep understanding of Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Jenkins.
- Ability to identify application risks and errors.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, collaborative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience working in an agile development model.
