Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and enhance enterprise-level Java applications.
- Use Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security, to build scalable and secure solutions.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions and application performance.
- Develop multithreaded and concurrent applications for low-latency financial operations.
- Write clear, testable code using TDD and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, DevOps, QA, and product teams to translate financial-domain requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5 to 15 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and database performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Expertise in TDD and writing unit and integration tests.
- Strong experience with multithreading, concurrent programming, and low-latency systems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual French and English proficiency.
- Banking or investment experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with FIX, trading platforms, or risk-management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ is preferred.
- Experience with performance-profiling and optimization tools is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
