Responsibilities
- Define and drive cloud and platform engineering strategy, reference architectures, reusable Terraform modules, automation frameworks, and infrastructure standards for AWS and Azure.
- Establish and lead site reliability engineering practices covering SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, observability, incident response, resilience, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
- Advance an AI-enabled development lifecycle across planning, coding, testing, release, deployment, operations, and monitoring.
- Lead complex technical programs across multiple teams, products, and business units by translating business objectives into architectures, roadmaps, and execution plans.
- Mentor engineers and technical leaders and influence engineering decisions without direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant hands-on experience in cloud, platform, infrastructure, software, or reliability engineering.
- Expert-level Terraform experience, including reusable module design, state architecture, CI/CD integration, policy as code, and enterprise governance.
- Deep expertise with AWS, Azure, or both, including Kubernetes, containers, cloud networking, and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong site reliability engineering experience with observability, resilience design, incident management, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
- Experience with enterprise cloud platforms, internal developer platforms, or developer self-service capabilities is preferred.
- Experience with AI coding assistants, engineering agents, and governance frameworks for production workflows is preferred.
- Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, architecture, or security certifications are preferred.
